Many believe that guns should be restricted or taken out of for this reason and also many others. Guns are not the only way to create suicide but also pills and overdose on other drugs. Also girls like our main character Hannah Baker are known to think twice as much about suicide as boys do.
Everyone is at a risk of committing suicide but there are certain factors that increase a teen’s chance of committing suicide. Among these reasons there are health problems which include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or insomnia. These kinds of problems cause teens to have a higher risk for suicidal thoughts. Other factors that may contribute to a teens cause of suicide include major life changes like parents divorcing, moving, or a parent leaving due to military service. Another factor that may increase the thought of suicide among teens is bullying like our main character Hannah Baker.
